i'm pretty sure it was a yellow kit at highbury for the 2-2 steve mckenzie getting the other goal ... i really can't remember this kit but i was young and pissed at most of the games in those days
[cite]Posted By: ross[/cite]we wore that kit in the draw with arsenal as mentioned above, as well as a defeat to millwall and a 3-1 victory over west ham.
Not quite right....
We did wear the yellow strip in 1988/89 away to Arsenal in the 2-2 draw but earlier that season we wore the "battleship grey" kit in the 3-1 win at West Ham and the heartbreaking 1-0 last minute loss at The Den.
If that is a number 8 jersey then in the 2-2 game at the Arsenal it would have been worn by Paul Williams because Steve Mackenzie was number 9.
I think it is more likely to come from the 'away' loss to Palace in 1990 when worn by Andy Jones.

Well this must be the other 1% then i'm afraid mate. We definitely wore the horrible grey kit away to West Ham in the 3-1 win - i've got the video somewhere. (Not to be confused with the other 3-1 away win at West Ham, when Jimmy scored "that" goal. Black and white adidas kit - loved it!)

Half tempted to stick a bid in for that
that seasons away kit was the blue admiral but we had to wear that yellow one from the previous season against the nigels as the blue one clashed.
I remember the shirt being snug on Jonah but the shorts must've been put on with the aid of half a large tub of vaseline
I used to have the red Admiral shirt - in fact I had the whole kit and I'm sure it made me play better.
we wore the red kit when Reid missed the penalty as we were the "home" side
I may be wrong though!
I also remember the kit of that era on Mickey Bennett - the shorts were like spandex on him
