Anyone else remember when Greenwich was at the forefront of the information revolution.
First and very amateur Cable channel run from behind a shop at Plumstead Corner. Must have been mid to late 70s.

Yeh, we had it at home even though we had a black and white tv.
The reception from the TV mask from Palarse was like the reception we got over there in '87 and that was shite.

they used to show local sports events , I think my uncle was on there playing bowls in the thames poly tournement.
I remember for some reason they had a big full page ad in the kentish independent advertising the premier of flashdance
