Pards said in a hotel reception, Dickson says otherwise:

However, after sustaining the injury in training on Tuesday he is set to have an operation on his knee today and will be sidelined for at least the next two months.

"I picked up the injury when I was trying to turn," Dickson told the South London Press. "I twisted my knee and my foot stayed planted in the turf and I felt the pain immediately.

  • its simple, a hotel reception had some lawn in one corner...
  • perhaps they were training in the hotel lobby? I reckon that the rumour that he got it while larking around is right and they have made a cock up of the cover story.
  • seeing as the travel budget is still ridiculously premiership standard, stayign in a hotel with a lawn in the reception really would not suprise me.....
  • Don't Chelsea have a hotel with lawn?
  • Behaving like that, sounds as though he might've been on the grass either way!
(just a cheap pun - haven't heard anything -honest!)
