Keeper kicks ball (after a while) into touch 15 metres into our half.
Freak (Delap) throws in.
Hope for the best.
Horrible, horrible side, havent been as pleased to beat a side for yonks. That Griffin needs a shoeing for his physical and verbal abuse of Youga, hope he plays against Kevin Muscat in the near future.
Spot on, personally I thought they were one of the worst sides we've played at home and couldn't believe they were actually above us in the table on that showing!!!!...timewasting after 15 mins FFS.
Couldn't fault any player at all last night but special mention goes to the centre halves and Holland who I thought was superb. Also thought Gray looked excellent in everything he did, held the ball up superbly and reckon with him and Varney they will trouble alot of sides.
Also thought Thomas did well when he came on and the pace he showed with that run was brilliant (and I noticed at the end that he looked as pleased and excited as the rest of them!) I know Sam got the goal but I was surprised he wasn't taken off instead of Ambrose at the time.
i thought we were going to do a Barnsley at the end.Having worked so hard to take the lead we did the usual drop as deep as feckin possible.Any deeper and they would have been on my lap.Crackin atmosphere last night though.
While I was of course elated by the win last night I have to say I was just as pleased that Stoke lost. If ever a team set out to spoil a game with time wasting and physical rough stuff it was them. The referee was blind and weak which aided Pulis's discraceful tacticts. The good guys won and the villains got what they deserved - ZILCH BC
Agreed. Great to see Ambrose work so hard and deserve his ovation, and Boughera was outstanding. Humble pie all round for me - Holland has been superb for a while now, and I also thought Sam was too tired to stay on, and would've subbed him instead of Ambrose. Oh well.
"Bullying the bullies" - I like that. Palace and Watford both work really hard too. If we match that, we have the football to beat both. So nice to see us fight for the right to paaaaarteee! (play OUR football).
Joke City reminded me of the Cambridge Utd team managed by John Beck. They used to get the ball forward as quickly as possible and try and win throw-ins deep in the oppo half. Then there'd be a long throw looking for the head of Dion Dublin. Similar?
[cite]Posted By: MCS[/cite]NO way there was 800 stokers last night, 500 tops!!
Which reminds me why oh why do some people persist in singing "is that all you take away" to virtually every team that comes down here. Waste of time as however many they had, it's a whole lot more than we'd have had up there. I'm not starting off the away support debate but is it really worth singing?!

He said Stoke brought 800, and Palace will have 'another 2400' on top of that
