Rumour has it OB will read every message board and blow up any comments about where people are meeting and drinking etc. Go the the footie , go out for a beer (its Friday nite).
Gooner I know Plod are stupid but im sure they are a little more ITK than to take much notice of places like this they know were to look for certain info
LeftB. They do 100% read these boards. ask anyone who was "done" re maze Hil. Scotland yard have a whole branch(Football itelegance) that looks at all the "noise" thats about. They would defo want to know 1) where peeps would be drinkin.2) what time people will be assembling. Which is just what is being discussed.
me and my bitches will be running them all out of town after the game.
the pub better not be shut afterwards. will be right peed off if i cant get in there after the game.

Evening games are very difficult for me at the best of times. This game has been changed to pander to hooligans.
I also have the very real dilemma as a responsible parent as to whether or not I bring my daughter to this game because of the risk of innocent people getting inadvertently caught up in violence not of their own making.
It pisses me off that we always pander to the moronic minority be they terrorists, criminals or football hooligans.
Len, please don't worry about the safety angle. This game is getting so overplayed by some people it is unreal.
What we do know is that neither club has a massive hooligan following, that the arrests at the away game and the likely jail sentences to follow will act as a deterrent to others, and against a backdrop of the highest police presence at a Charlton game ever.
It will be a massive overkill, and very little trouble wise will occur, certainly if you don't go looking for it.
If you are really concerned, avoid the area leading up to the station immediately after the game, or failing that, park someone on the East side of the ground.
But please don't let the fear of trouble effect your judgement
Len, I can see entirely where you are coming from but it would be a real shame if you let a few mindless idiots ruin the night for you and your daughter.
As AFKA has stated, I very much doubt there will any trouble as the amount of OB around will be huge.
any trouble will be at London Bridge or in the surrounding areas
i very much doubt there will be the chance for even pushing and shoving around the ground
OB will have learnt from the shambles at Sellout and will probably keep their fans in and seal off a route to and away from the ground with horses and dogs and an escort
Len I can't see anything really happening mate,my littlen has overheard chat at recent games and said he didn't want to go.But it will be a crackin atmosphere and I dont really want him to miss out on it considering the morgue like matches so far this season.ThePolice will have it sewn up and as Bart's said if you give the station a miss I can't see there being any problems.Their dick heads took a opportunist hit on innocent fans and wouldn't turn up anyway. There will be a lot of mouthing off but nothing more, don't let this spoil your enjoyment m8.
As I understand no Pubs are likely to be shut down before or after the game although I have been told that if any Charlton are in the Anti from early afternoon they will shut it at 4.00pm for an hour then re-open it to AWAY fans holding match tickets in away end only.

Shame that their 'intelligence' couldn't have followed that Palace 'mob' to Sydenham Station on September 1st.

Only joking, everyone knows Palace fans don't have any friends.
Wss, fancy a beer before travelling to Charlton after work tomorrow? I can show you Simon Jordans new bar.
