i think he's been properly over hyped and isn't good enough for the top top level of the english game... all pace and not the greatest touch a bit like agbonlahor and ashley young imo... would still be happy to have him him down at the valley
Agree with Oohaah. Despite his pace, he's still not quite ready for the lofty level he finds himself at. Wenger says he's a natural finisher but we've yet to see that. Then again, he also advised Sven that he was ready for the World Cup nearly 2 YEARS ago - puts into perspective how farcical that selection was (we already had the potential young & quick secret weapon in the squad with Lennon).
Saints fans have seen briefly what he can do in this division. Perhaps if he'd stayed and developed steadily they'd be watching a fantastic home-grown player by now, but like every other hot young property, he went far too early to the Premiership and spends most of his time on the bench at best. Guess MK probably see the same scenario with Izale (even if we're not quite Prem).

Exactly what me and my mate were saying the other day. I've yet to really see him play well, the other night against Tottenham I think he gave the ball away every time he got it. To be fair Tottenham made it hard for him and none of the team were really on their game but to think that's him two years more mature than when he went to the World Cup speaks volumes. What a ridiculous decision that was.
[cite]Posted By: kinveachyaddick[/cite]Would be absolutely unstoppable in the Championship so definitely worth asking?
I disagree, think he's massively overhyped - he's got pace granted, but I've yet to see much else from him to convince me. He clearly moved way to early and it's not his fault he got in the World Cup squad therefore completely overhyping him even more!.
