It's Taken 5 Months

But displays- and results- like today are what I expected all season. Today we played very well all game. That hasn't happened at home since we played West Ham about a year ago.
Ipswich- we were poor 2nd half. Leicester - we slowed down.

I think it's our turn for a run now. WBA will take some catching and keeping up with. Let's go up with them and let Palace lose the Play - Off final to Shef Utd, just to upset old Owl Face!

As those who know me know, I am a self confessed Fairweather supporter. Today, for me, the sun came out!

  • Blackpool weren't the worst team that we've had a the Valley either.

Its the pace we now have in the team Dave that is the difference. With a little more confidence, we can really give it a go.

Whats even more pleasing for me is that our best performance of the season comes without

    1. Reid
    2. Thomas (for most of the game)
    3. Big Chris (for most of the game)
    4. Sodje
    5. Fortune
    6. Semedo

This really does show we've got a strong squad.
  • Agree about the pace thing, it's something we've been lacking at full-back for some time.

admittedly i've missed 5 home games but i thought blackpool were awful, defensively inept(i mean even we scored from corners!!) and as an attacking force they got into a few threatening positions but didn't work our keeper... i expect to see them battling relegation... let's hope we can get a decent result against watford but it'll be a much sterner test than on saturday
