in all honesty if Pards felt the Board wasn't backing him enough in the transfer market or thought they were lacking ambition I think he would quit. Anyone agree ? Would you really be bothered ?
A few months ago I was definately a Pardew man but now I'm beginning to doubt him a little. Some of his buys have been poop and to play one up against the bottom team at home was, for me, ridiculous. To get out of this division you need to score around ninety goals and we are going to get nowhere near that. I really believe that he is now under pressure, the football isn't great, results are on the wane and crowds are going down (albeit slightly) when I'm sure that the Board would have thought that around now they would be going up as we pushed for promotion. The jury is now out.
I am def still with him, Yes it is his squad yes some buys have been shit but i am a great beliver that rome was not built in a day.
We came into this season thinking we would have a larf piss it up win every game.
Reality is things take time too settle we are well placed for a late push and if we dont go up this year then there is always next when i think the team will have been together long enough .
Then and only then will i be making a judgement on whether he is the man or not.
change for change sake is not enuff, we were stagnated by the team that Curbs left, even more so by the dowie bad buys,
lets give him a chance we went through worse under curbs and came through it. i honestly think we will be ok.
It is similar to what happened to him at west spam and i for one would settle for miss out on promotion, playoffs promotion , attacking football premiership,fa cup final
[cite]Posted By: Heath Hero[/cite]I blame this site because if Pards could have logged on yesterday he would have seen who he needed to buy. As it was he couldn't. AFKA out!
AFKA ......what's Pards user name on here?
Then we can see when he's logged on - and give him a few, alright a lot, of suggestions.

I'm not 'aving it
Didn't he have a trial with us a few years ago?
yeah and Dowie offered him a one year deal but he got offered two at Derby. I think he's a decent player who'd look ok in our midfield, especially at this level.
I agree entirely I mean what is he doing now at this very moment when we have missed another potential signing. Why were we not in for Anelka? Chelsea have only paid 15 million for him.
