AFKA - That set-too in front of you yesterday.

edited January 2008 in General Charlton
seemed to get quite animated. I know the bloke with the glasses is a regular at away games. Does the other bloke always sit in that row too?
The stewards didn't seem to want to know, just stood behind you watching.
Shame the players didn't show as much passion!

ps Mr Special Needs in the East Stand was on top form yesterday, more interesting than the game for the most part. Must take my camera and get some action pics of him.

That was more than likely me in the east stand,as i lost the plot yesterday big time.
    Special needs,very good :)
  • if everything else wasn't so depressing it would of quite amusing.

they didn't go back to their normal seats for the second half, sitting on the end of the row. Bloke in front of them with his kid asked them to calm the language down a bit, but got the expected response. On response was stronger than the other, and the two of them completely forgot the other bloke and started proper arguing between themselves.

Sadly its not the first time this season i've seen one of them nearly come to blows with his own group.

I think drink plays an important role....
  • the happy clappy family in the East were in top form yesterday, and their clap seemed even louder in 2008 than it did in 2007 :-)
  • ere afka i heard that dude clapping from where i am in H block!! that was a loud clap for sure!

I tell you what tho, all this in fighting is getting on me tits
  • The only clapping louder than his was from Big dave when Lisbie got subbed. He's a big fan.

I reckon I am close to needing help where Lisbie is concerned. I could quite easily kill the feck. You watch, after years of barn boor and banjo, he will now spend the next hundred years hitting the back of our fecking net.......
  • There was a new season leaving-the-game-early record yesterday.

    42 minutes.

Lisbie scoring an overhead kick was the final straw apparently.
  • I assume that ends any possiblity of there being a Kevin Lisbie Testimonial game ?......or was that it yesterday?
  • now we've all calmed down a bit....

how good was that little fecker yesterday ? I really didn't know whether to laugh or cry !!!!
  • I laughed. Not because it was funny but simply because I was in a complete mess and could not find it in myself to hug Ketman and cry uncontrollably.

We really didn't do ourselves many favours as fans though. 2-0 down, right come on hometime!!

Colchester were pretty short on numbers and weren't very loud but they did more than us when it looked like we were going to get back in it to fire theri side up to hold on and extinguish our lame flame.

Dont Dan!! I am still hitting my head on my desk ..............
  • c'mon we know he has it in him (v Chelsea, v Ipswich - both away, v Liverpool) we just did not know he had it in him so frequently - 16 goals in 155 appearances.
