I was saddened to see his name on the starting team at the weekend. I really have not rated him for some time. He is always off the pace, can't win a header, doesn't tackle very often and always has clean shorts at the end of a match.
I fail to see what he adds that Semedo cannot do!
Any ideas anyone?

He also provides some of the leadership on the pitch that Reidy lacks. He gee's up the lads, stops people confronting the ref (Mills on saturday) and has the "sensible" moan at the ref (ie. the one that's not going to get carded).
Skill-wise, Semedo jst edges it, but for experience and leadership, Matty's your man.
That's what Pards would say anyway.
I like Matty, always professional, stumped up with important goals and to be honest you don't play as many games as he did without being half decent.
He played ok on saturday, threw himself into some challenges and rarely gave the ball away. He understands the game in this league/country a lot better than Semedo (at the moment). Sometimes i feel Semedo dawdles on th ball and puts unnecessary pressure on himself and the team.
Swisdom, give us a song,
Swisdom Swisdom give us a song !
bang on large
you merciless bunch of turds!
Maybe I was trying a little reverse psychology. I'll do one about McLeod on Friday!
Far play to Matty but I still reckon that Semedo offers more, especially in a 4-4-2.
He'd be third on my teamsheet after Reidy and Weaver.
Super Clive was a legend, Mark Kinsella was a Legend, Richard Rufus was a legend!
Matt Holland, a legend? You're having laugh!!
starting against he old team on Saturday
