Broke one myself in a charidee game between the Huntsman and the General in 2001. Went in for a 50/50 with a fireman and as well as him breaking his ankle we managed to explode the ball and create a drop ball situation.

i sit in the upper north, east side, just before the ball burst i thought i heard a loud bang coming from the west stand. anyone else hear that? was that the sound of the ball bursting or the sound of the sniper rifle, obviously the same sniper who took out their player making that run down the left wing in the first half :-D classic!!
