Whistling Pipes plumbing help needed

Just had new pipes run at home due to a gas leak inside.
Anyone know why they whistle is it because they are new and this will die out or is it something i need to get them back to sort?

if they are gas pipes I would get on the phone to the installer immediately! Either way ring em to be sure.
