Feb 9th; Interesting Scenorios

After events before the game at Sellout Park how do you think things will go on the 9th Feb?

Will Pardew say in the week prior to the game how much he enjoyed his time at Palarse and how good the fans were to him?

Will Mighty Mouth start to crank it up again? Will he even turn up?

What will everyones attitude be at the game, will it be evem more hostile knowing that young chidren and families were set upon prior to the game in September?

  • To be honest, i'd personally rather not think about it until nearer the time. I think a lot will depend on how our perspective seasons are going. Hopefully they will be similar to how they are now.

may do a bit of car park loitering though so i can express my admiration for the great man that is Jordan !
  • I think its probably a little too early to get excited about it just yet!
  • Before you know it the game will be upon us..............

Whoah there - too much info!
  • so Suzi you would rather think about a game in Blackpool rather than the one againest Palace, how bizzare
  • Oh behave.

Im looking forward to Blackpool away more than any other game this season.

Lets talk about the Surrey lot next year eh.

  • But Blackpool is a dump. granted i will be up there with the boys, but come on its a northern Margate,
  • The rate they're going, we could well relegate them again at that fixture! :-) OH JOY!
  • I cant understand how people are more excited about going to a dirty northern seaside resort full of northerns wanting to fight you because u come from London, and doorman refusing to let u in, or B&B's with the 1960's decor, rather than a grudge match againest your local rivals,an they say the passion in football hasnt died

they're not our rivals or didnt you know that?
  • Well said.

Will be looking forward to Blackpool as well but surely it comes no where near the opportunity of winning a derby.
  • [cite]Posted By: AFKA Bartram[/cite]Why ?

Because its not just a game, its as good as a holiday !!

a holiday, blackpool is like beiroot! total karzy hole!! rather go to gey pareee!
  • in terms of an experience/adventure/fun Blackpool wins everytime, in terms of 90mins of football the Palace game wins.

In all honesty, i'd take a whole experience over 90mins of venom, anger and possible violence.
  • WSS did i say Blackpool were our local rivals, read from the start of the post ...........

I was being sarcastic about Palace not being our rivals

Think you need to get out more if you think Blackpool has adventure and fun

Not the bloody match, the whole day/experience.

It's the people you are with rather than where you are that makes it in my opinion, as well as being somewhere different other than the bugle/oak/h&g etc.

    FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!
  • and you MCS need to re read the thread.

its november ffs. not february. not sure what the point of talking about crystal palace now, when the game is 3 months away. now my girls weekend in blackpool will be what i'll be planning in january as we're making a weekend of it, not a usual afternoon victory at the valley on the 9th.

I've never been to blackpool, was meant to go when I was younger, but I got chicken pox and we couldn't go. booo.

Ok then,,,,,,,,you sound like her indoors,
  • why would you want to go anywhere nice on a boys trip ?

Blackpool is the English Magaluf. Cheap and tacky, perfect low market booze scenario.

Would i want to go away there with the missus for a nice weekend ? No.

Would i want a weekend on the lash, stripping Dave Storry naked and chucking him in the sea ? Bring it on
  • I'm missing the Palace game, so meh
  • I tell you what, i enjoyed Blackburn Away last season (i know it wasnt hard) above and beyond any game - including the spanking of West Ham.

This was mainly due to Medders pulling a granny.
  • Blimey some people need to lighten up.

Do I want to beat Palace more than Blackpool - YES.

Will I enjoy a weekend in Blackpool with my mates, no doubt getting lashed with a few off here and watching us spank some second division northern team - YES

To be honest I looked forward to Palace at Selhurst more than at The Valley, pretty certain than the 2500 that went will make more noise than The Valley. Cant even pop in one of the pubs without being surrounded by wannabe Stone Island gangsters and van loads of police watching your every move.
  • hey everyone, we're playing preston on saturday and sheff u next tuesday, lets talk about that :-)
