Xbox 360 is amazing but I've just seen an advert for Assassins Creed on ps3 which looks like it's going to be just as good. I'd get the 360 though, cheaper innit. And better games out at the moment. Get him Gears of War he'll love it.

As for your girl, I'm not sure about Barbie. Some recent research by Dove reports that by the age of 12, girls have seen 77,500 ads showing visions of beauty and all it does is make them miserable. As a result 93% of girls and young women report feeling stress or anxiety when dressing, and 58% of girls describe themselves in negative terms, including such words as 'disgusting' and 'ugly.'
