Should we start planning to bring him home on loan in January?
If he could fire us to promotion, we could even re-sign him at a big discount!

    But what does Ramos think of him? Whether Jol did or didn't want is purely academic now as the deal is done and Jol has gone.

    Maybe if Spurs kept paying all his wages he could come on loan but I can't see him wanting to drop back in the Championship.

    to be honest, in an ideal world i would prefer Spurs to sell him to someone in January as it would mean that we get a nice £12m ish all in one go.

    Darren was great here. Spurs paid us some serious money. I really couldn't give a flying f*ck whether or nor Jol wanted to sign him. Great business for Charlton, maybe Darren should have gone to the Hamsters instead - the lure of playing alongside Berbatov was too much for him. I still wish him well and hope he comes good for Spurs.
