[cite]Posted By: Salad[/cite]same as you Afka, skip to us in the Championship and watch the odd spot of MOTD, that's it.
Same as Salad un Afka, trouble is all the glory boys in the local means I have nobody to talk to except Bigfatpete!
Of to Soton tomorrow, getting a lift to ground by a supplier who is saints fan, lovely!
watching less live prem sky games and not too bothered about champions league but always sky+ MOTD and cut out the talking bollox, sky+ the championship and the big league but fast forward to see our matches and palace and millwall when they lose
i only have freeview so only games worth making the effort to go to the pub for are charlton, the midweeks while you're drinking before clubbing or the big ones like arsenal v manutd
I've the reverse attitude to the "big games" in the pub - because the pub fills with glory-hunting tw@ts. There's nothing worse than Chelsea v Man Utd down the boozer. Given the choice, I'd rather watch the smaller games, because at least you can have a laugh watching those rather than be irritated by some Man Utd fan that's never been north of Watford.
Can't belive anyone ever watched MOTD to see Charlton! We were hardly ever on for more than 30 secs.
I am more a football fan than a Charlton fan and watch any match if I'm in, usually with the sound down whilst listening to Radcliffe & Maconie on a weekday eve.
R&D V Oxford U last night on Sultana Sports, yet another cracker! Noddy Holder's recolections of TOTP complemented it very well.
I'm with the ex-pat brigade. If I'm at home I would watch the African Nations under 12's if it were on - just to get a footie fix. When I was in the UK, I just watched Charlton and MOTD for the goals. Like Len and WSS unless it's Charlton I really can't get that excited about watching another game it just cannot hold my famously goldfish attention span.
Equally you should see me perched over the laptop 'watching' Charlton Life updates of games at home - I go into a complete trance and a world war or a naked Charlize Theron would not stir me. Saddo.
dont watch nearly as much as I used to, rarely watch MOTD, normally Sky+ it and then watch it Sunday morning in about 30 mins !!.
get very bored with the Champs league group games....only gets good at the knockout phase.
however do still watch games whenever I'm in the pub and have to say that the Liverpool v Arsenal game reminded me of why I love football that much......despite my dislike for Arsenal I can't help but think what an absolutely cracking side they are at the moment, there were times last Sunday when they were virtually unplayable !!!....I'm hoping the Arsenal V Man U game tomorrow lives up to it's billing, however they sadly rarely do...
