  • yep and gettin pissed in Catterick,It's funny how strict they were but they too loved a beer and whenever we played Sunderland or Newcastle,we got an hour in the boozer.Fat Swanny done 8 pints in 40 minutes once.Boy could he drink.
  • there is a pub just round the corner from Watford Gap services we used to always run around the corner to. How anyone discovered it in the first place i'll never know.

    gone off thread here, but.......

    anyone on the coaches that went up to Huddesfield midweek, mid 90s ? Mark Robson scored a pen

    For some reason, we were well ahead of schedule, they headed about 5 coaches to this pub in the middle of nowhere. Was there for an hour or so, filled the place, great sing song.
  • who was on the coach back from Bradford cup replay,when the poxy driver kept nodding on at the wheel,remember bouncy off the curb in the Tunnel,christ he got some abuse when we got off.
