i missed the game against the kiwis, does the new

style square programme still fit in your back pocket when you fold it in two ?

i can see it now, blokes all lined up having a slash or on the concourse with a pie in one hand and a pint in the other and trying to hold their programmes under their arms because nobody thought about whether changing the shape would cause a problem...

didn't we have a square shaped programme briefly in the late 70's ?

  • Anyone remember the duodecahedral programme from the mid-sixties?

Some popular magazines in the US are being printed in smaller than paperback, pocket sized and they're really handy. Think they would make for a good programme, though the pics and writing are small.

Square is awkward, but there seems more space for photos and layout. There are probably all kinds of advantages more to do with production then where we stick them when having a slosh (Which is a mistake in my opinion). I'm sure Ben would welcome feedback on 'em.
