Thanks B for organising an absolutely fabulous night. What great blokes they both were! Both seemed very at ease recounting their stories to us.
I could have listened to them both all night................maybe not Vince butting in every five minutes ;-)
Sorry that I didn't get to ask the question though B, was a bit busy getting the Sash Illic fan club to the venue!!!!!!
Good to meet some new faces from here too. Top bunch, top night!
Sasa is sooooo intelligent and humble for everything. I loved that. he was so greatful for everything he was given at charlton and just took everything. Did anyone get his business cards?
Funny story about him rolling around in the goal mouth for hastings.
Nice of Morts to come for an hour or so and tell that story of sierra leone. fascinating stuff. Considering he actually had something else to do last night, we should be v appreciative that he (and sasa) gave up their time to come and speak to us.
My first ever city addicks meeting and what a belter it was Morts and Sasa were both brilliant, a top evening out at a nice little boozer, nice guinness too :)

Were they selling Guinness? I didn't realise : - )
great night.
with corruption being talked about by both morts and sasa, i can't help thinking i missed an opportunity to get some tips to sting the bookies.
funniest part (imo) was morts story when texting his wife from africa whilst the armed policed boarded the coach.
West Side thats dangerous. what time did you wake up?
Nothing scandalous was mentioned apart from whats been said above. You could tell that Morts had really warmed up by the time he had to leave and really didnt want to go, shame it was a short visit for him but he promised he would come back.
but part 2 was brilliant, sasa's life story really is amazing from where he came from to where he is now... as dan said to hear him say that at 26 year he managed to find a room to live in hastings while playing down there and was excited to buy himself a black and white TV ... he's come a long way.
I slipped him a little note asking him to sign up to charltonlife.com... lets hope he does.
i was in the loo so i missed the comment about vince's shirt? what was it?
Always have a great night at this gathering, but i particularly enjoyed last night. The characters of the two guests differed greatly but both absolutely fascinated me, and both spoke excellently. It was great to hear Morts despite him clearly having to be elsewhere, but still giving uphis time, why Sacha spoke with incredible humbleness
Why this meeting always works so bloody well is due to the informality, the friendliness of the flock, and the clever selection of the guests. Well done Brenda for your efforts, its much appreciated by all, and thanks to David White for hosting as ever.
[cite]Posted By: WSS[/cite]Shame i fell asleep on the train and the bloody station staff didnt check every carriage for people and locked the doors with me in there.
Luckily i managed to shout through the windows for someone to come and let me out!
Yeah that's right, it's the station staff fault that you're a larry lightweight!

Thanks for organising B.
I'm with WSS - Sasa's autobiography would be a very good story.

Both guys very entertaining.
The Danny Mills answer and the reaction from the crowd was brilliant. Dave's face!
Well done David White as well for answering the other questions.
Good to meet a few people off here for the first time as well as the usual suspects.

I always think the players who haven't come up thru the academy's etc are more interesting as they have a wider perspective on life.
