[cite]Posted By: suzisausage[/cite]thats my analytical view from a shed in the corner of the ground. it was v hot out there, the boys were desperate for water, and chris laid on the floor with leg in the air pulling on his foot. thats a sure sign isn't it?
Guess so but both came off.
Also have to say well done to John Fortune who was obviously in pain from cramp or a hamstring pull but went up front and went for the headers. Seemed to take ages for Samedo to realise he was meant to drop back into the back four.
Not sure if I saw the same game as some of you but Lisbie was never the best player on the park for me. The Ex Yido winger who scored their First goal but was substituted after the sending off had a great game & looked really dangerous, he looked well peeved when they took him off.
Woeful defending from us again, which is gonna handicap us all season until we sort it. Make Rothers right Sodje stonewall to start Tuesday, not sure if Majic is fit yet though.
[cite]Posted By: Ormiston Addick[/cite]The key thing here is that Lisbie is now playing at "his" level in the Championship and not in the Premiership where he was never going to be consistently good enough.
In the Championship he will get plenty of chances and will take some of them whereas in the Premiership he would get far fewer chances and be under much more pressure to score which would further sap his confidence.
I think it was a good move for him and us, why would anyone want to hate him?
Ormiston, your'e dead right. Except Lisbie's strength was obviously never as a goal scoring centre forward. By his own admission he is a support striker, whose main strength is making things happen up front, creating havoc and basically being a pain in the arse to the opposing defence. He needed to play alongside a goal scorer, someone like Bent who would have taken a lot of the pressure off Superkev. BTW did you get my whispered message?
I always thought he was a good player, but for his own good he should have moved on about 3 years ago. He has got a chance this season to make a name for himself.

He oujumped the big bruisers from Burnley last week, to score with a header.
i'll let burnley worry about that.
centre of our defence is still a major concern for me.

Dont hate him though!
Good luck Kev.

I hope he does.
