Seems he signed for Strasbourg on a four year "elite" contract which was one year as an apprentice and three as apro but switched to Rheims after two years. Plus he's got three caps as a South African international. His position is listed as attacking midfielder.
How long do you need? Bring him over, put him up in a hotel, give him a few training sessions to work out if he has the ability to succeed or not and if it looks likely that he'll make the grade give him an extended contract or something while you have a longer look. I guess the weekly trial is the equivalent of an extended job interview and any longer than a week cuts down the chances he has at other clubs, so it works both ways.
sorry BFR, but the point i wastrying to make was we get through about 100-200 similar trials a season, so i don't really understand why this one is attracting so much attention.
Any news, other than the "R" word these days surrounding Charlton is pretty good and makes for a change
And it's not often that we take on trial a player who is touted as "his country's most promising player" (fair play, it could just be paper talk), but hum ho, live a little
BTW, where did you hear he was on trial for a week only?

Yeah that is included, and links in with all the other facts and figures.
Like we have 1-4 different people on trial every week ?
