Spot the mistake in Colchester preview of the game...

Those who survived the close season cull include central defender Madjid Bougherra - who was given a torrid time by the U's front line when playing for Sheffield Wednesday at Layer Road last season, pacy wingers Jerome Thomas and Hector Sam. Hardman defender Ben Thatcher, cultured midfeilder Andy Reid and two former Ipswich Town men in midfield; Darren Ambrose and Matt Holland though the Irishman, who lives just outside Colchester in Great Horkesley, is not yet fit enough to take his place in the squad.

  • hector sam who's that
  • "Pacy winger Jerome Thomas"
  • [cite]Posted By: Ledge Knows[/cite]hector sam who's that
it's not even close, sounds like it or anything!

"There's only one hector sam" will be sung tomorrow if he plays
  • Didn't Hector Sam play for Port Vale and Trinidad? Maybe we've signed him and no one has told us.

Typical Charlton. Keep the fans in the dark and tell them nothing. This is worst than the Womens team being closed down. Sack the board.
  • I blame that bloody SD Henry Irving - he ignored my email about this

    What's an e-mail?
  • Eh, is Henry Irving the supporters director then?

Well, where's he been for the past 18 months or so then? - apart from eating prawn sandwhiches and getting pissed at board meetings.

Don't have prawn sandwiches at board meetings. Choice of hot meals plus fruit and/or cheese but otherwise that was spot on. All that drinking it's no wonder I've put on weight and people like you take the piss about my chins.

    You should be ashamed : - )
  • Then there was the one so far missed:

"Matt Holland though the Irishman, who lives just outside Colchester in Great Horkesley, is not yet fit enough to take his place in the squad."

    Matty is Oirish......?
Don't think so. Might have played for Republic of Ireland about a million times but born in ......Bury, Lancs.

Tanks a millyon. Oi'll fetch me anorak. :o)
  • Henry Irving. More chins than a chinese phonebook

    ;-)

  • Hector Sam was at Wrexham a couple of years ago, not sure if he still is.
