no wonder he's doing so well now he's moved out to the sticks...the place is full of barn doors to practice his aim...
  • Lisbie..... 2 goals in 2 matches for Colchester.

You just KNOW he's going to score on Saturday.

Why is it that ex-players ALWAYS score against their old clubs?
  • even Amdy Faye got in on the act
  • i know it always happens ex players score
  • Well, Big Chris should get one or two too then.
  • Nice one, Weegie, I never thought of that.

    :o)
  • the thing is lisbie is not a typical player, doubt he will score.
  • Good luck to him. I will always remember the hat-trick against Liverpool. I think Di Canio had a big influence on him at Charlton and once he left he wasn't the same player. He did miss some easy chances for us though!!!!!
  • Good point. Di Canio raved about Lisbie - the most skilful, talented player in the club, he said.
And Lisbie's most effective, productive and goalscoring period co-incided with Di Canio's stay with us.

Perhaps, Di Canio just instilled his belief in SuperKev - and the result, for a couple of months, was really the SuperKev he should always have been.

But for injury then, he might have actually scored 19 goals in one season instead of taking 10 years to do it.
