he probably thinks that we owe him as it was his sale that got us back to The Valley.

True. Thing is he may well be right but f**k the facts, show more loyalty
[cite]Posted By: AFKA Bartram[/cite]Thinks we're not good enough to win it, but thinks we will be in the play offs.
Tips Coventry to win the league.
Fcuking hell, on the basis of what? We are three points behind Coventry, we have a number of players still injured or to bed in. He has got to be some kind of soothsayer if he can predict the winner at this stage based upon current form. He can only be going on the "they're top at the moment" plus "Dowie got Palarse up" factor. If you look at the two squads, Coventry's nothing special. He hasn't got anymore of a clue than anybody else. If you were taking a punt on quality and resources, you'd pick us with Sheff Utd. Go back to being a turnstyle I say....:-)

I'd also put Watford, Wolves and WBA in that bracket. I'll be suprised if Coventry are even top 6.
he has been asked his opinion and i think he's right on our finishing position and he's allowed to say coventry if he wants too even if he'll probably be wrong .
why's everyone so bitter about our ex players/managers if they're opinion isn't charlton will win the league/cup or stay up , they're gone so who cares

Exactly - It would have been nice for him to say something like "i think that Charlton will get in the playoffs but I really want them to go up as champions, considering the time I spent there"
People like Hansen will predict Man Utd and Chelsea to win the prem, year in, year out, but you know "he'll just love it" if Liverpool win it one year.

Why are are some people so bitter about posters on here expressing an opinion? It's only an opinion about an opinion.........;-)

As has been said, he's only giving his opinion.
If he'd been asked the same question this time last year, he probably would have said Cardiff would be promoted and Sunderland would be relegated.
In time honoured tradition of course, people base their forecasts only on what they see at present. I don't suppose Robert Lee or anyone else is really any different.
Anyway, despite being a 'turnstile' or even a 'turnstyle' - it was supposed to be his Dad that got him the job, Robert Lee grew up supporting West Ham so no doubt playing for Charlton was just a job.
How many of you want your previous employer to do really well? )
