Valley Review, Charlton Athletic’s popular official matchday programme, includes in-depth coverage of the men’s and women’s first-teams, as well as the club’s academy sides.
For every game, readers are guaranteed at least 64 pages packed full of club news, exclusive interviews and features, a breakdown of the opposition and much more.
Subscriptions, which include all men's first-team league and cup fixtures where the club is producing a programme, cost £145, and includes home delivery straight to your door.

This doesn't seem like a good deal to me. Surely, by paying up front and purchasing EVERY programme, you should be making a saving.
Assuming we don't have any home cup games, this works out at £6.30 a programme. Programmes were £4 last season, other than the £6 programme for the first game.
If we stick with the same price per programme, we need 13 home cup games (impossible) for a saving to be made. Even if the programmes cost £5 next season and the initial programme costs £8, we still need five home cup games for a saving to be made.1 -

They have to be delivered by post. Postage costs a small fortune.
Personally, I've always found the subscription service first class even if those delivery times sometimes seem to get slightly stretched!

The programme costs about £2 to post , 2nd class.1

Anyone still buying programmes need their head examined. Out of date as soon as it's printed.

The programmes have got worse and worse over the years. They seem to be put together by people who haven’t a clue. And go straight in the bin after reading.
But I still buy one every match, as I have done since the mid 60s. 🤷🏻0
