What with all the discussion about our midfield. What type of midfielder is Racon ? Scotty Parker type...All tackles and mostly defensive or Claus...No tackles and playmaker !
Anybody know ? and can we expect him to figure or be a squad player ?
supposed to be a defensive minded midfield player who likes to get stuck in i think. he's only just received international clearance so is now allowed to play for the reserves. Won't be long until he's involved i'm sure.
the issue with midfield is whether we need one of the central pair to be defensive at this level. Semedo was so deep yesterday and his passing so square. Once ZZ came on, the midfield two put their defence under so much more pressure with their forward passing and movement
that's true but how negative were Wednesday in the second half? The midfield pair could afford to push forward a lot more. When we're away from home especially we need someone like Semedo to sit deep and do the dirty work.
