Some amendments here but there are still a couple of errors in pages 3 and 4, namely Docs and Berry's marks which I'll correct after the next match

many thanks to the 43 Lifers who gave marks

Terrible scores for a terrible result!

    Thanks LL.

I wonder if there should be a minimum score a player needs to hit to get the “Player of the Match” accolade?

Wasn't expecting Doc to be top

(goes to check the submitted marks to see if new member GDoc1234 had given him a 10)

No - it is what it is, and the best score is still an indication that the player played a better game than the rest of them

No one answered my question in the last statbank about whether 6.03 was the lowest ever man of the match score. Docherty has just answered for you useless lot.

I believe that you could answer your question yourself by delving back through the site, as for me being "useless" - get stuffed!
  • I think that Docherty's average is incorrect.  My calculation is that it should be 4.03.  BTW, I really appreciate all the work that you put into these stats LA

Said in jest @lancashire lad , said in jest. <3

My point was that i thought we were at a low point but the team said "hold our beers".

And certainly wasn't a ribbing directed at you, the studious compiler of said stats. I had assumed that the evergloomy amongst us would have that insight to hand.

Interesting the average was slightly below Southampton. 4.4 v 4.42. But both were utterly dire, I’d say second half v Southampton was better but first half last night not as bad. Could have been interesting if it hadn’t been for kiminski’s errors

Wow wtf amazed docherty first thought he was terrible - like they all were but thought he was particularly shite again just needed midfield to try and drag us forward a bit but just panic and poor touches every time they got the ball

I'm surprised Bree was marked so generously as he forgot the first duty of any full back.
