Anyone recommend a pub for Saturday preferably close to Coventry station. Something decent that sells real ale.

The Old Windmill, Spon St. Great place.1

My Cov mate's response to the question I asked him a couple of days ago:
Sure thing. All within 10mins walk from the station:- The Old Windmill, on Spon Street. Old, historic pub.- Triumph Brewhouse, Parkside. Modern, but independent micropub.- Hops D'Amour, Corporation St. Another independent micropub. Really good selection of Ales.- The Squirrel, Greyfriars Lane. Nice pub which is also a curry house.3 -

A thumbs up for The Old Windmill, excellent for cask ale.
Go to the back to see about ten casks racked and ready with some interesting beers. There's a Scottish stout (half pint) with a malt whisky for a fiver too.0 -
anyone know good parking?
Looks like its on site (which takes an age to get out of) or "just park" facilities. Streets within 2 miles of the ground seem to be permits.
Oh for the days of Forest Green and Cheltenham when you could park 200 yards from the away end.1 -
Considering the amount of injuries we have at the moment I'd prefer Coventry stays out of the pub.0
