Can we all just calm down. This has been bad but this group has been magnificent for 12 months
How are we supposed to calm down when we're 4-0 down at home inside 25 minutes? What next? We get relegated bottom of the league, but be happy because they were magnificent last season?
We're still 10-pts clear of the bottom three with a LOT of Football to play.

Any talk of actually sticking around and keeping up with the Play-Offs was a fairy tale
Oh no I agree, I don't think we'll be in any danger once Kelman, Godden and the defenders are back

We have a bit of an attack via Campbell and Macca but it goes back to Cov and his shot is a bit tame.

Was a poor cross rather than a shot imo

Saints down our left, into the box but good from Doc to clear.

I think it’s a good time to expose some of those vulnerabilities that have been going under the radar.

Can we really risk a full season of Gillesphey and Docherty potentially having to play 20/30+ games?

Transfer window coming up and we need to address that left side and left CM role.

The shape was wrong right from the start. Apter and Hernandez aren’t wing-backs and offer little defensively, and when you throw in the lack of pace from Macca and Docherty in the middle – who, by the way, shouldn’t be starting ahead of Knibbs – it’s no surprise the whole thing turned into a recipe for disaster.

Crazy how I can go from playoff dreaming to being content with 18th in just a matter of hours

Need a Time Machine to get to January

Don’t understand how the left wingback even gets a start most things down our left leads to a cross or worse.

Oh dear we come forward via Cov, but his shot comes off Carey's arse. Sums up our day really.

Southampton are a decent team and have very good players, but we are making them look like 1970s Brazil. Apter the fall guy, but the midfield has been the main issue, pedestrian and not even chasing shadows. The chronic lack of pace in the back 3 has been ruthlessly exploited. Karoy needs to come on to give us some legs in midfield and Olafe to at least give the centre backs something to think about.

Greg Docherty being exposed for the absolute Fraud he is. Good at running about and that’s it.

Non-existent, our worst striking partnership there is at the club

Great from Leaburn, Hernandez cuts back, slightly iffy touch from Doc, and Saints are able to counter. Shot into the side netting.

Knibbs hasn't been anything special when he's started though, can argue that him in place of Docherty results in Carey having to play deeper in Midfield and has so nullified our top scorer this season as a result.

Docherty is having a poor game, but like Hernandez with the handball / Ramsay with the red card... It seems that someone has a poor moment, and then the consensus on here is that they should be dropped and never seen again... Whereas if we truly took that attitude whenever someone has a bad game / mistake... We'd be playing the U18s very quickly

Hernandez cross from the right, spooned into the JS by the defender and we have a corner.

He's literally first one in the door isn't he?

Gillesphey looks shagged, maybe not a morning person.
Seems Gillesphey was in fact not ready for this (among others)

Docherty to slow there, needed to pull the trigger, .Charlton trying to get a grip on the game. We need a goal before half time
