Loving this idea, specifically for when there's train disruption from Kent. It need not be large scale, if marketed as an assist for those who can drive but unable to navigate multiple train changes and busses, or the increasingly difficult parking restrictions. If it got established then maybe it could be scaled up. Would need permission from Bexley Council who own/ manage the car park i believe.

The club hasn’t been willing to run Valley Express at a subsidy from the ticket revenue it generates, even though there would be a net financial benefit to it, so I doubt they would run a loss making local service on a regular basis and it’s very unlikely to break even on a short run because of the hire cost.

Things may change when they find people stop
coming because of the parking controls, possibly. Still, there’s always the DLR, eh, Ed?

Due to a fault with the signalling system at #Plumstead, trains may be subject to delays and alterations or cancellations.

Engineers are on site at #Plumstead and will carry out an inspection.  Trains may be delayed, revised or cancelled.

UPDATE: The fault with the signalling system at #Plumstead has been resolved.  Trains will be able to run as booked to/from Plumstead. There will still be some delays and alterations as the service recovers
