11 out of 70 lifers got a return in week 8.

@Sonicstud85 is the weekly winner with picks of a win for Aston Villa against Tottenham Hotspur (3.25), a win for Manchester United against Liverpool (4.8) and a win for Sheffield United against Watford (2.05) netting £319.8. That's far and away the best return so far and inspiring for those of us languishing on -£80 .

This also means that @Sonicstud85 is now in front overall .

Collectively we would have been up £296.78 for this week if placed with the real bookie.
However, we would have been £587.68 down across the season.

The Rules

  • Each week a selection from the weekends games will be posted up.
  • You will be given a virtual tenner to put on either a single, double or treble.
  • Simply post your bet from the selections and we'll work out everyone's virtual winnings/losses over the season.
  • If you don't use your bet you get -£10 for that week for competition purposes.
  • Anyone joining part way through the season will start on the same balance as the lowest in the competition.
  • Any bets affected by postponements will be settled using remaining selections. If all selections are cancelled you will get a £20 stake for the next round.
