the Danes picked up the pace considerably in the 13th minute when Dennis Rommedahl breezed past Steve Finnan and floated over a superb cross.

    I think he was supposed to be, but he got lost wandering around a motorway on the way there so they brought in Tony Gubba as a last minute replacement. It's just lucky that Tony happened to be in the area at the time, stocking up on some strong continental hardcore.

    Did you hear on the Sky Stoke commentary, one of them said Alan Curbishley, instead of Pardew, and went uncorrected....
