2025-26 CL Prediction League Week 8 Fixtures

In the 1970s, in a northern town, a small bookmaker noticed that a man was winning his football accumulator bet with alarming regularity one winter. He also noticed that some weeks the punter did not place a bet. After several wins, he decided to investigate. He found that the man was choosing lower league games and predicting that there would be under two goals in each game. Further investigation revealed that the man was choosing games that were likely to be called off due to frozen pitches. A flaw in the system meant that postponed games were counted as no goals and, therefore, successful in the accumulator when betting on under two goals. There are no such easy options when it comes to the CL Prediction League. Postponed games score zero, and abandoned games take the score at the time of the abandonment. I suppose if you are confident a game will be abandoned within five minutes of starting, 0-0 might be a shrewd prediction. Sadly, the Prediction League is all about skill, which is probably why I'm in League Two. But Week 8 is another week, and if @cafcpolo can score 11 points one week, so can anyone else. Just pick the three bankers, unless, of course, you are confident that three games will be abandoned within five minutes of kicking off. Good luck.
