Just a word of warning I expect there to be no sales on the day, I think they’ll be a collection area by their East Stand for those who buy from Charlton today or tomorrow
Useful to know as I’m gonna make a last minute decision tomorrow. 👍

Tickets go off sale at 1pm on Friday afternoon and will not be available to purchase from the MKM Stadium on matchday.

I am reading we have sold over 2k tickets for this one? Can anyone confirm if that is true.

Cause I am deciding between that or rewatching the Ipswich highlights as tug material later, cheers

I think we are some way off that for this one. I don’t believe all blocks were put on sale

2000 would be incredibly impressive , but I would be very shocked if we managed that when we didn’t even do so for Sheff U

Not many home seats left either. Mostly singles. I would avoid adjacent blocks n4 and n5 if considering this as an option, but I would be tempted to buy up the other end if poss and ask ticket office to swap me into away end if I was going.

Try the away ticket office, I believe there is one next to our turnstiles, failing that just go in the home end.

Where did you hear this, or did you see the tweet Brazilience did?

I’d love this to be true, but I don’t think all the blocks went on sale.

If we're taking 2000 to Hull, ohhahh will have a coronary.

I think it's possible. If 2,300 went on sale the last block of 500 had maybe 300 left by 11am, then that's 2000 all told (assuming all away allocated blocks went on sale).

Why do the Club not longer update on the number of away tickets sold?

reading where ? Can’t see 2k travelling tomorrow
  • Nothing to base it on, but I think we’ll take about 1200 today. Which is decent for us.

It’s great support. Fair play to anyone travelling up from the south. It’s not cheap to travel and there’s plenty of closer away matches to attend throughout the season. Hope all rewarded with the 3 points.

So they can sell more Charlton TV passes
  • Yeah seriously,  I miss Clives updates on tickets sold, all helps to the pre match build up even when im not going.
Also his reminder each game how we could all look it up for ourselves. (I never did).
    Thanks Clive.
    RIP Away attendances updates.

If I had to take a wild guess I’d say it stopped around the time Charlie Methven left and the club no longer has someone who understands that sharing ticket sales numbers probably encourages more fans to also go. Same with home ticket sales imo.

I think of we’d sold 2k tickets the club social media would’ve been all over it

Only if somebody had told them the ticket sales numbers

The club doesn’t push away games apart from Wembley when they then go missing ..

I’m not sure about this as there was no noise about Ipswich when we did this

However I quite like the fact we are just very organically selling healthy away followings without having to beg people to go , likewise was incredibly shocked and impressed by the 23k home sales for Wednesday which was high priced and hardly any promotion around it (even though it was miles off actual attendance)

Looking around the valley last week i would have said it wasnt miles off 23,000
