  • Glasner would be a great appointment for them.
  • They'll go for Southgate because he's free

What they need is a complete overhaul of the culture at the club. Southgate did that with England so not the worst option, but club football very different
  • Iraola would be superb for them, hopefully they go with Southgate instead
  • Southgate isn't actually a bad option.

Personally think they should bring him in if they want someone to have a long term input towards fixing things.

Would be uniteds 1st English manager for over 40 years.

    Maguire probably isn't going anywhere.

As someone who rated Southgate for England, I think he'd be a terrible option for a club team, so hopefully he'll go to Palace

Still think the Club / International Management is very different, and the likes of Southgate / Coleman have proven they can deal with coaching a team, but dont rate either at having to do the extra week in, week out bits.
  • A major difference is that Southgate doesn't have a job, whereas the other 2 do. And it sounds weird to say it, but is Man U the sort of club to jump ship to at the moment?

Both Glasner and Iraola will get other offers

More chance of you being appointed Fanny.
  • Curbs 14/1

Regardless of how shit they are, they're still Man Utd so I think any manager apart from those already at elite clubs would be interested.

Glasner is also out of contract at the end of this season, so if United did go for him the compensation probably wouldn't be too high.
