So many US players to dislike...
Yep, long list i'd pay good money to see lose 6&5 or worse tomorrow

So the US would have to win 9.5-1.5 in the singles to win the Ryder Cup? Well they aren't doing that.
Wrong, they have to win 10-2 to win the Ryder Cup.
I was assuming that Hovland's match won't be played and that match would automatically be halved?

Surely the point would rightly go to USA if he couldn’t play?

I wonder if Luke might mix up the singles. You'd expect USA to load the front games with their best players.

Superb, especially considering the record that he brought into this Ryder Cup.

No, it's a half each. And whoever is in the US envelope that was submitted before the start by their captain will sit it out.

Nah, they choose a player to sit out and the point is shared.

Apparently the US team have to put a name in an envelope tonight and if hovland can't play that player has to sit the last day out with the match being halved.

So we withdraw all 12 and win 17.5 - 10.5?

I think we'd be a bit disappointed with that

Do they have to play all the matches or do they just stop once one team gets enough points?

Being serious it might be time to let Canada join the US and make a NORTH America team.

You're defo sending him out first if you're Donald. Make Scottie or Bryson give up half a point.

Few Americans volunteering to be the player to sit out I’m sure.

I hope you’re parading around the states with your Charlton shirt and Europe cap tonight! All those American Blackburn fans will be fuming!

Decent article outlining the abuse aimed at Rory and Lowry in the afternoon session yesterday https://www.golfdigest.com/story/ryder-cup-2025-rory-mcilroy-saturday-fans

The US fans have zero class.

That’s why I was thinking surely the point would go to the US.

This seems very open to abuse 😄

Rory telling the crowd to "shut the fuck up" and then sticking it to 4 feet from miles out is box office, love it

As above, they absolutely deserved it. Shouting homophobic slurs at someone would get you arrested in most countries and he did well to restrain himself.  Lock them up.

That would also have to include Mexico.
  • I'm sure most of them won't care but it's good to see their fans getting slaughtered for their antics this week. The headlines are almost as much about fan behaviour as they are of the Europe performance. I've even seen quite a few Americans on social media calling out their fellow countrymen and saying they're embarrassed to be American.
