One of my favourite Actors, All the Presidents Men, The Great Gatsby, and who can forget the Sting, and `Butch Cassidy, I think he set up the Sundance Film festival, Director, Producer. One of the true Icons of American movies.
I’m 43 so many of his classics were before my time, but he starred in The Last Castle with James Gandolfini and Mark Ruffalo which I thought was a great film
One of the best looking male actors to ever walk the earth. Add his incredible acting capabilities and charisma into the mix and we lose an absolute 🌟 of the acting world. Will always be fondly remembered by those who have seen his work. If you haven’t- recommend a watch.
RIP Ordinary Bob! (That nickname was so tongue in cheek…)

Paul Newman???!!!
Jesus Christ, absolutely right, I was thinking of him and Paul in Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid when I sourced the image and not only searched incorrectly but was stupid enough to post it. 🤦🏻♂️

You wouldn't have been wrong with Paul Newman either!
Some films age or are of their time, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is a timeless classic. RIP
The Sting also - one of the very best endings of any film. I remember seeing it at the cinema when it came out and had no previous knowledge of the ending. There were gasps and "oh shit" from the audience.
The more I think about RR the more I realise what an absolute icon he was, and so good with Paul Newman, another icon.

Hollywood great that lived a long life fair play.

Sad loss.
One of those ones where for a moment you think, "a world without Robert Redford?"
Great movie star.
