An honest, hard-working performance from Charlton today saw them dominate the visitors for large parts of the game, going up 1-0 in the first half through a lovely Sonny Carey strike. Tyreece Campbell worked himself into the ground and proved dangerous whenever he was on the ball. Things were going mostly Charlton’s way.
That changed when Kayne Ramsay saw red after what I thought was a fairly soft but understandable second yellow. His first challenge was brilliant but he then threw himself into another that was a split second late. The Addicks did well to regroup and had a few decent opportunities to seal the win. But the blue lot’s confidence built as they settled into their numerical advantage and they eventually equalised.
So, our jammy neighbours escape again, scoring late with their first shot on target.
What’s more worrying is that we’re not picking up the points in the league that our performances deserve.

Once again, we have to put up with their supporters’ ugly triuphalism.
Thought most of the formation/tactic changes post red card were poor also.
Campbell who was the villain of the story last time, shouldn't have started... Showed what the fans truly know... with an excellent performance... Kelman showed a lot of improvement. There are benefits to take with a long season still to come.
Easy to say now... But we limited Millwall to that one chance, that they frustratingly took - Eyes will be on Ramsay's absence, but even with the pressure, we had the experience in Defence to be able to hold on
The only matchup we lost today until the 78th minute was their winger on Ramsay. Two poor games from him now and I’d keep him out the side for a bit.
Wveryone else, quality. Kelman so much better today. Campbell class.
Jones got booked as well, and managed to avoid a second booking.
like others have said I prefer Manion in goal
We know a Jones team can start the season of slow before really finding its stride, and at the moment - although we’re not picking up lots of points - we’re not looking out of place.
So looking long term I don’t have anything to feel to down about.
Jones solid.
TC worked tirelessly.
Kelman looked sharp.
Captain worked hard.
Coventry was good.
Ramsey, our most consistent performer - let us down.
Harvery Gardens is absolutely rammed so good luck trying to get away.
F***ing Spanners. Instead if the police closing the roads they should have been put in solitary confinement instead until we'd got away from the ground.
