I wasn't across the "Main Millwall" thread.....but fanning the flames? I don't think so....Millwall fans have been doing that since the dawn of time! At least @MillwallFan comes across as a bit reasonable but why is he on Charlton Life? trying to defend the indefencable is a lost cause. Lets put this lot into historical context, its generational, plain and simple they are simply deeply unpleasant people and will they change I very much doubt it. I think first thing Millwall fans teach their baby to say " Is no one likes us we don't care" enough said !stoneroses19 said:
To be fair to @MillwallFan, they were on the main Millwall thread soon after admitting they were wrong and condemning what happened at The Valley. Not sure what you're trying to achieve by fanning the flames with your post.TootingRedArmy said:Ah yes, collective denial the Millwall way of life. For decades they’ve treated hooliganism like Bigfoot: “lots of sightings, no proof, mate.” Admitting guilt would shatter the sacred illusion of “proper passion,” so instead we get deflection, denial, and a dash of “media witch-hunt.” It’s practically an art form from these sad Bushwackers from New Cross.
Funny how @Millwallfan now pops up weeks after their lot attacked Charlton fans onto this thread, where he been? struggling to defend the indefensable. When some of these sad cases involved some even in their fifties & even sixties closer to collecting their pension storm Gate 21 like it’s 1983, you really have to ask what is wrong with them? @Millwallfan coming back on this thread now, where were you MIA...??
Millwall Innocent Absent… as always !
"In the 1920s Millwall's ground was closed for two weeks after a Newport County goalkeeper, who had been struck by missiles, jumped into the crowd to confront some of the home supporters and was knocked unconscious.[10] The ground was again closed for two weeks in 1934 following crowd disturbances after the visit of Bradford (Park Avenue). Pitch invasions resulted in another closure in 1947 and in 1950 the club was fined after a referee and linesman were ambushed outside the ground"
