Are people going to be genuinely sad if we go out?
appreciate it’s not been good but I couldn’t give a toss if our second team gets beat and we’re out of the league cup?
momentum important and all that but this is a whole new 11 playing together for the first time
It would be nice to have a cup run now and again (and not just timed with appearances of Halley's Comet) as it would help with the confidence and mood around the club and the fans.
Getting dumped out at the first or second opportunity by a lower-league side is hardly conducive to building a winning mentality, regardless of what players have been picked.
I’m not fussed if we go out the league but I am fussed about the fact that our fringe players aren’t playing in anywhere near the style the first team does. And I’m particularly miffed that the midfield 3 who are quite experienced have been completely bypassed
Probably doesnt help, that those First Teamers out there potentially have the attitude that if they've been selected to basically babysit... Why should they give a shit
Kelman still not getting any service. Whats the point of signing a player that thrives on through balls when all you are going to do is pump it long or in the air.
Genuinely fucking hate the whole LWB/RWB system if you just shove a winger there. Fullah totally lost here, and should be bombing forward - Hobden nowhere to be found attacking the right hand last third.
As bad as the 2 goals were , our tactics to get the ball forwards and passing quality against a league two weakened side is more worrying . All of these players could be playing in the league with a couple of injuries . Woeful.

This is the problem with 11 player changes for a game. Even if we do have 'first-teamers' out there. They know they've been thrown out there in a meaningless game that Jones doesn't particularly care about.

That’s exactly what Apter is though, we’re just lopsided the opposite way to usual

Just had his second effort at goal
Don't let facts get in the way of his mental ramblings please

More concerned about how poor some of the depth looks tonight.

The problem will be, and a bloody big problem it'll be, is if the entire lot playing today have to be relied upon for a game.
Its the manner of it all
