    That was a really high standard round 1 game, really well done. Expected nothing less though after seeing your COQL game against Jenny Ryan's team earlier in the year

    Don't know if you got to play or meet them but Fiona and Tom from the 5ks who were on 2 weeks ago are friends of mine

    it's an online league in which Paddy plays in the top division, I think I'm in the 4th or 5th division. this is the opening game from last season

    Just takes lots of practice! We have all ended up thinking in groups of four and the like. It's general knowledge meets logic meets cryptic word puzzle type stuff.

    Ooh a fellow COQLer on CL, amazing! Yeah we were decent vs Rebosh (Phil and Alan are absolute class too) and glad we got the win. I even beat Liam Hughes of Zoomsbury on a tiebreak question this most recent season. An unbelievable moment for me.

    We have played Fiona/Tom/James before too! I know James via quiz fairly well, haven't had the pleasure of meeting the other two in person but am well aware of their Countdown prowess. How do you know them?

    I know them through Countdown, am also aware of James but fairly sure we've never met

    looking forward to seeing the rest of the series, good luck with it, I've avoided spoilers, the only thing I know is that Fiona was banned from wearing a blue t-shirt on the blue side of the set
