    Pretty entertaining so far.

    Two things though:
    1) Players celebrating a turnover like they’ve scored a try. 🤔
    2) USA coach’s name: Fuko Fuka. 😂

Ellie Kildunne is as fast as lightning and if she stays fit will be the star for England with her darting runs.
Two tries and two assists for the world player of the year tonight against the USA.

The assist for I think Breach's second was immense, as was the little nutmeg for one of her own tries. She is so, so quick. A worthy player of the year.

England have now won 58 of last 59 games.

The one defeat being last World Cup final

The England team are so far ahead of the rest if they don’t win it will be a massive shock, and a failure to be honest on their part. It doesn’t make it particularly competitive but you have to admire how good they have become. The rest of the world have some catching up to do in regards to investment and professionalisation.
  • Need a few competitive games.

I watched 10 minutes. Really impressive but too little competition really. England and NZ will beat every side they play comfortably

Fortuny or Unfortunately, the main reason why the England ladies have had so much investment over recent years is because the head of the RFU's large bonus package is based on the success of the men's and women's team jointly. So it's easier to spend money on the ladies and get them to dominate in a weaker overall competition, than to get the men's team improved and successful.

I much prefer football to rugby, but prefer women's rugby to women's football. Last WC was excellent. Was even setting my alarm for silly o'clock to watch the games. But we threw it away (how English). Hopefully won't do the same this time.

    Comfortable.

And nice to see both sides making their highest score of the tournament so far...

  • Looking at the world rankings, i'm surprised to see that Canada are ranked 2nd. Wasn't even aware they took rugby that seriously given that the men are not even top 20.

……and missed 3 conversion. Jones out.
  • First game I've sat down and watched of this tournament. Quarter final stage. Had to watch something to take my mind of what happened earlier.
Seems a good game so far. Canada very much favourites but the Aussies got a good try back to make it 1 try each.

  • Canada are in a different weight division. They can just push through them. When they get a maul it shows how much stronger they are.

Unlucky Ireland but you should have been out of sight in the first half.
Come a long way in this tournament tbf, very proud 💚

  • Final about to start. England v Canada. Don't think I've ever heard Canada's national anthem. Not too bad.

Hell fire, that was impressive from Kildunne.

  • Quite pathetically I am quite drained trying to watch as much as possible of the tennis, golf and now this today, whilst keeping up with our game on the tvs and various tabs open on my laptop!

I'm going to have to miss some of the rugby when I dive out to the supermarket as soon as the last of the morning foursomes is decided

I don't want to jinx anything by commenting on results/scores so far

    She’s a class apart.
England having a bit of a wobble down to 14.

Canada second try was a clear, like a metre or more, forward pass, yet no mention from the commentators, no TMO. Was clear as day.
