Am a little surprised to see Berry and Knibbs on the bench already.

Cant really have any arguments about the team so far

Hoping for the best. Looking forward to it much more than the last few years even though I know the opposition should be tougher.

That was the 11 I expected, with the main question being whether NJ went with Bell or Gillesphey. It was the subs I was less certain about.

Good to see Knibbs on the bench. Didn’t expect Berry to be there so soon (did we ever hear what his injury was?), but NJ did say only Burke and Godden were unavailable.

Other than Abankwah, its only really Baah (tore us a new one when at Rochdale, forgot he was at Watford actually), and Kyprianou from the starting eleven that I recognise.

Scrap that earlier  prediction, 2-0 win - kelman and Tants.

Might be the classic League One Charlton of keeping it tight for 60/70 minutes and then throwing on Knibbs to see if he can win it at the end.

    Plenty of change -

With the competition for places we want to see a sharp start from these.

Using the pace of Kelman / Campbell to hit them on the break, hope for something, and then we can get Olaofe / Leaburn on to either protect, or go route one if we absolutely need to.

Both teams posting the lineups 75 mins before kickoff instead of 60 mins before, is this something new?

Fullah is the one I have sympathy for, but his time will come and am sure we'll see him involved in some capacity on Tuesday night... Justice for Gassan after his two goals at mighty Southend!!

Hard not to feel bad for Macca but on balance probably the right decision. Not only is that team a decent step up in terms of quality from last season but that bench really packs a punch.

So fantastic to see the crowds on platform 4 chanting and getting excited for the game.

I've just boarded a train on platform 5. Girlfriend has enforced a trip to Sheffield this weekend ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hopefully Fullah and Zach start on Tuesday. With 9 subs I’m sure they’ll get their chance this season. At some point Fullah will score a screamer from outside the box and make it difficult to leave him out.

Surprised to see TC start but apart from that it's what I thought it would be.

Might have to wait until the 2nd half for the game to really spark into life.

Agree, although those moments were less prevalent towards the back end of the season

Word from a Watford fan is Louza is their best player  and Baah is a real danger man.

No one should be starting based on their performances last season. Should be a fresh slate for everyone.
