  • It does seem half the ground didn’t even know about his song and much about him?

I mean he is a bloody Charlton legend. Surely you know that much
It's abstract for younger fans i expect in the same way Alan Simonsen is for my generation.
  • To be honest I should we should have done better. There was a few people trying to get his song going at 27 minute, but if seemed North Upper had a few who wanted to go there, but no more.
It was certainly audible on the TV if not especially loud.

Yes I believe he sat in Villa Moura in Lee most nights with a nice bottle of red and a few marlboros.  One of their best customers.

    RIP Jorge!
Lived in Lee for a while can't recall Villa Moura where was it exactly?
Just off the Lee Green junction. If coming from Lewisham along Lee High Road, turn left towards Blackheath (I think the road is called Lee Road). Basically, opposite side of the road from the Vintage Fish and Chips Shop, at the Blackheath end of that postage of shops.

Used to be called Kates Bistro back in the day.
