As a father of young children I can only imagine the pain Ethan's parents, family, and friends must be feeling. To lose a child at any age must be so hard, but to lose one soo young is just cruel. I'm not aware of the circumstances around Ethans passing, but when I see innocent kids suffering with deadly diseases it really gets to me, and its all too common.

My condolences go out to everyone associated with Ethan, and of course to Ethan too.

    R.I.P Smiler.

"In Loving Memory of Ethan Erioluwa Ade-Oduwale

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved Ethan Erioluwa Ade-Oduwale, who left us far too soon on Friday, 25th July 2025.

Ethan was just 9 years old a beautiful, confident, and kind-hearted boy whose radiant smile could light up any room. A cherished son, teammate, and friend, Ethan played for the Charlton Athletic Under-10s and brought joy, passion, and an unshakeable spirit to every match. On and off the pitch, he touched the lives of everyone who had the blessing of knowing him.

Those who knew Ethan speak of his warmth, his laughter, and the way he made others feel seen and loved. Whether it was his teammates, coaches, teachers, friends, or family Ethan left an imprint on every heart. His time with us was short, but his legacy will live on in the memories we hold and the love we continue to share in his name.

We have set up this GoFundMe to support Ethan’s family during this incredibly difficult time helping cover funeral costs, memorial arrangements and support to the family to help with living expenses during the grieving period, and to ensure Ethan is honored in the beautiful way he deserves.

No contribution is too small. If you’re unable to donate, we ask that you keep the Ade-Oduwale family in your prayers and share this campaign to help us celebrate the life of a truly special soul.

Ethan, you will forever be remembered. You will forever be loved. Rest peacefully, star boy.

This is the only official GoFundMe set up in Ethan’s name. It has been created solely by his parents.

Thank you for your love and support."
