Tracking with interest as i have a couple of prime seats i might yet purchase. But i could see a block of 40 together in block A, and a row of 15 in block B at the time of writing. Plenty seats at that end.

Got my ticket. Hopefully manage to get to a couple this summer. Early kick offs much easier with the little ones and getting back to put them to bed

I’d hope that the crowd will be around 24k for our first home game back in the Championship. I’d personally be disappointed if it were any less after the clamour for tickets for the Wycombe game then Wembley.
The two games you mentioned were full of wives, girlfriends, partners, grandparents and grandchildren. There won’t be the same enthusiasm for a bog standard league game however I am expecting at least 20k

I agree about the demographics for the home semi final and Wembley but "bog standard" League game is so wide of the mark. We have 46 cup finals coming up including two against Millwall 😃

CAFC have played 230 matches in the mediocre League 1 since we lost at Leeds and despite summer holidays I would expect 21k with the ground hoppers and football tourists making up that number.

Oohaah is our expert on "bog standard"

Hopefully we get over the 20k mark and I hope the club make a spectacle of the occasion. Our return to the championship is an occasion we should mark

We’ll easily get over 20k don’t worry about that

Sometimes I wonder how much some people want Charlton Athletic to succeed.
Above all clubs given our history, any fan that wants Charlton to succeed should definitively question anything they think doesn’t look quite right.
Blimey - I like a good conspiracy theory as much as the next man, but seeing sinister dealings in bigging up the potential crowd for a match is going a bit far...

Will all rely on Bristol City sending them to the club, they'll go on sale a day or two after that

I had been wondering about that, considering that Watford's away tickets for the game just a week earlier have been sold out for ages.

They'll need to get the QPR tickets on sale fairly early too, as that will be a high demand one.

Yeah obviously. I just wondered when that might be, given the game is 3 weeks away.

Normally get to see the first of the season, h or a .. alas, the early kick off has scuppered that this time around .. first game for me will be Foxes at the Valley
change of plan .. found a very early train to get me to the Valley for Watford. Also had to amend my ticket for the Foxes game  (cost over £27 to amend) .. KO moved to 12.30, I'd bought a ticket to get to the Valley for 3.00
Two whinges, the ridiculous cost of train tickets and the 12.30 kick offs F F S !!!

Feel your pain, I moved to Cornwall for 10 years and never missed a Saturday  home game, plenty of early starts,
pleased I am in Kent now , 1230 kO  still a pain up the arse but that's modern football for you.

Crikey that is a long hike went trough their the other day coming back from that area. But i had one when i lived in Scotland. Missed the midweek games but came down on the overnight bus from Dunfermline on a friday and back Saturday night. Often went straight to work on the sunday when there was OT. But in those days all games were at 3pm.

Landing from NYC at 6.30am on the Saturday. Rush home, drop off case, back on train.
