Here's the best I can do...

    GK:
Sasa Ilic (came from non-league, defied Curbs' orders to go up for a corner at Blackburn and concedes from it)
CB: Mark Fish (MTV cribs and falling through a coffee table)
CB: Andy Todd (Punch-up with Deano and a well-renowned lunatic)
RB: Danny Mills (Got himself sent off for a Xmas break)
LB: Hermann Hreiðarsson (Pure aggression, came across as a generally quite mad)
CM: Peter Garland (Struggling for CMs, but any central midfielder who can retain the nickname "Big Fat Pete" as a professional athlete...)
    CM:
Emmanuel Frimpong (Footballing liability and the "Dench" stuff)
RM: Paulo Di-Canio (Appropriate that he's on the 'right wing', some mad touchline antics for us)
LM: Johnny Robinson (Mental, always moaning, loved him)
CF: Derek Hales (Fighting teammates, in the pub before fans could get there, "Killer" for a reason)
CF: Tony Watt (Loveable Rogue, untameable)

Manager: Guy Luzon (Basket case, *that* celebration)
Luzon should be coming to the end of his first 10 years this summer .

Was it Jon Fortune who was ‘well connected’?

The Andy Hughes classic was wrapping himself in bandages like The Mummy and jumping from behind a bush in front of Chris Powell shouting "I'm nearly fit boss!"

I forgot about Andy Hughes. Bit of a shame he was mostly in the background.

From my perspective Alan Dugdale was a nasty piece of work, loved him but he had a mad eye and didn't take prisoners. Plus a a big yes for Andy Todd who was just nuts.... Happy days!

Never heard that, the story I got was Deano was bollocking the defence in training about a goal the previous Saturday, and when they got back in the dressing room Todd thumped him. Apparently Curbs walked in just after, and said "whats going on here" and everyone started changing the subject so to speak. Shame really, Todd was a decent player for us, and had kept out of trouble until then.

That sounds a more realistic story.

Vaguely remember the following game being at Villa Park

Talal El Karkouri also seemed a bit unhinged. I'm sure I remember him needlessly blasting the ball point blank into the away fans in one match, or something similar. Even his free kicks, though brilliant, were a bit mad.

Yeah that was against Norwich. Under no real pressure at all he opted to smash it into the Jimmy Seed stand (conceding a needless corner) rather than knock it up field or out for a throw. F*** being on the recieving end of that!

Andy Todd also had that memorable brain fart where he full force toe ended Christophe Dugarry up the arse for no apparent reason
