Interesting VAR decision in the Fulham v Arsenal game.
I wonder if anyone on here will have an opinion on that?
Not thinking of anyone in particular. 🤪2 -
Everything at Forest started to fall apart the moment Marinakis employed Edu. Nuno lost his head over it, fell out with him and Marinakis was always going to side with Edu (given he'd just hired him). Now they're linked with Sean Dyche despite Nuno's football supposedly being too defensive.
On top of that there was the weird Gibbs-White situation, who since the summer transfer fiasco and his incredibly forced interview, has looked a shadow of the player he was.
It's all a complete shambles and we're only 8 games into the season. Looking for your third manager of the season before you've played 9 games must be a record surely?3 -

Blimey. Ange, Ange, Ange. Deary me.
I feel so sorry for him but I want to rip the absolute piss out of him at the same time.
That 5 min monologue in his presser on Friday really was something to behold.
As I said before, it was a miracle he wasnt sacked at a dozen or so points before he was at Spurs. I still pinch myself that we won a European trophy under him. Injuries aside, we were proper rubbish under him after them first 8 games.

Could be much worse. Could be a Graham Potter type!1 -

1. The fans (and probably the players as well) didn't want Nuno sacked.
2. The transfer window had closed so he was working with players he didn't know.
3. His appointment came at a time when there were games every 3-4 days. They played 6 games in the first 23 days of his tenure, so he had hardly any time on the training ground to implement his style, which is completely different to Nuno's.
4. Forest's good results last season were mainly built off the back of a solid defence. 2 of those mainstays were Aina and Murillo, but Aina was injured for all of his games and Murillo was injured for 6.5 of the 8 games.
Overall i blame Marinakis, he shouldn't have sacked Nuno, and then he made totally the wrong appointment.2 -
Lovely goal for Man Utd!!0

As if Macallister needs that swimming hat on🤣🤣1

Shaping up to being a good game this1

and Man Utd are back to their old tricks.
How many times has Fernandez gone straight to the referee so that the game stops whilst he "finishes is conversation with him?". Did the Man Utd goalkeeper take the ball out of his box? I think he did.0 -
Will be very funny if Liverpool have spent £400m and got worse.0

That Man Utd shirt is rank. It makes the players look like they’ve sweated through it and it’s sticking to them.1

Towards the end of the first half, they said Mbeumo’s goal was the second quickest in this fixture after one by Nicky butt some years ago.
They showed both of those goals as being scored in the 2nd minute. But Mbeumo scored after exactly 1 minute - that’s the earliest you can score a goal classified as being “in the 2nd minute”, so how on earth was Butt’s goal quicker?1 -
What a shocking miss that was from Salah, especially to not keep it on target0

Feeling sick listening to Gary Neville having an orgasm when Maguire scored.3

At least there’s a bit of balance in this game as they’re both there, but I don’t think they should commentate on their own teams usually. They’re both just too biased.4 -

Ekitike has looked a real handful whereas Isak, for club and country and probably due to his "strike" and the protracted nature of his signing, has looked a shadow of his former self and Slot can't seem to find the best position for Wirtz. Liverpool's defence is all over the place and they've now conceded 11 in the PL as opposed to Arsenal's 3.
It's 11 years since Liverpool last lost four on the trot. Those players will all come good, no doubt, but the damage in the PL will be done by that time and they might end up having to concentrate on the CL and the other cups. The PL is Arsenals to lose though if Haaland were to keep banging in the goals then you can't write off City.

Fair play to Man Utd for that, does feel like a midtable scalp though, rather than a Man Utd matching Liverpool like we're used to0
