Premier League 25/26

In terms of NJ and the PL I think he's worked out he needs to be promoted into it and that's why he picked us and has stayed with us. I think we are the perfect sized club for what he needs, big enough we can reallistically be in the PL in the next few years if everything goes well but small enough that he can have the almost complete control he needs and have underdog status. I hope we get to see that realised and rewarded3

Garrymanilow said:It's interesting how much more English football at the top level is beginning to be defined by the physical game again. 442s about the place, all about sending the ball up the pitch, competing physically in every position and much less focused on the delicate side of the game. The pendulum always swings eventually but at the moment it's heading more towards the kind of style Nathan Jones goes for which is interesting. I wonder how he'd do in the Premier League the way it is now with the ability to sign the kind of players he wants. Likely much better than his first time round.
Liverpool, Arsenal, City, Chelsea, Newcastle are all 433 with two wide attackers and a central striker.2 -

Its 4-3-3 (or effectively 4-2-3-1) or 3 at the back with a 5-3-2 or a more modern 3-4-3 with two coaches playing it with different levels of success, Glasner & Amorin.0 -
I just went through the last weekend's lineups for every club in the Premier League and not one of them lined up 442?0

Villas president of football operations Monchi to leave the club.0 -
Incredibly funny defending for the Brentford goal0
-
Brentford ripping Man U apart here.
2-0 after 20 minutes and could easily have been more.0 -
Conceded 4 on 2 of their last 3 visits there. At this rate United would be delighted if Brentford stopped at 4 today.0
-
Brentford’s defence about as shite as Man Us there.0

TNT are determined to show us as many shots from the “Ref Cam” as possible, but it brings absolutely nothing to the enjoyment of the game.I can see it could possibly be useful in the event of a contentious issue, but constantly switching to it during the game is just ludicrous.0

Jesus. TNT are really winding me up today. This commentator and co-commentator have constantly deviated from actually commentating on the football in order to inflict their own opinions on what is right and wrong about the game. Among other complaints, they’ve been whinging about the delay caused by VAR all game. They sound like a couple of miserable old farts down the pub. Whether I agree with them or not, putting the world to rights is not their job. They’ve been complaining for the last five minutes that the delay of the penalty was unfair on Bruno Fernandez. As I type this, they’re still going.
COMMENTATE ON THE GAME YOU TWATS. FUCK YOUR OPINION, I’LL MAKE MY OWN MIND UP.1 -
Amorim can’t be long for this job.3

What’s the betting today is the only time Liverpool don’t get a lucky late goal?

Andy Reid on Saturday Night Football.
Think that's the first time I've seen him on TV since he retired1 -

Ref that isn't allowed to ref Liverpool games due to his support, but can ref against their rivals. Mental.0
-
Hmm... Not sure on that... Really difficult decision actually.
I think that Pope makes contact with the ball, but cant be sure0 -
That's a bonkers VAR decision, basically you're allowed to take a player out as long as you get the smallest touch on the ball1
