It doesn’t seem so long since school and nights down the Rock club in New Eltham. But then again it does. We never did track down Doug did we. RIP Wally.
Enjoyed 'Reds' comments and contributions over the years. Very very sad news, although I never knew Malcolm, I felt I did.......RIP Love and best wishes to the family.
I’ve had a few drinks for the old fella tonight, still shedding tears but also laughing at our conversations in the years gone by. When after a few beers he asked why I called him Wally, only his wife Angie called him that.
I pointed out that he’d told me previously that he preferred it. 🤷♂️
It always reminded me of Rodney’s conversation with Trigger about why you call me “Dave” I know that made me Trigger but so be it. 😂
One of his favourite former Charlton players Sam Bartram, of course I asked him if he’d seen him play and called him out when he said he hadn’t. 👇👇👇👇👇👇

Lucky enough to meet you in person once. Your strength and courage in battling the bastard cancer has been an inspiration.
Sincere condolences to Angie, Other family and Friends particularly Ray and Colin.
RIP fellow addick.
